Darryl Brown, Jr. MA, LCMHC, LCAS, CCS
My name is Darryl Brown, Jr. I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor, licensed clinical addictions specialist, and approved supervisor for provisional licensees for both credentials. I obtained my masters degree as a graduate with distinction from Liberty University in 2014.
I specialize in working with children and adolescents, couples, and those struggling with addictions. I am proud to have received advanced training through the Gottman Institute and utilize the Gottman Method in my couples work. I have also received advanced training through the Clare Matrix Institute and work with adolescents struggling with alcohol and substance abuse issues.
Having worked full time in various settings such as Christian ministry, community mental health agencies, and community substance abuse treatment facilities, I have gained invaluable experience working with children, teens, adults, and families from all walks of life.
Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my wife and children and our English Bulldog and 2 Great Danes. I love riding dirt bikes, snowboarding, wakeboarding, and as a commercially rated pilot, I love to travel and explore new places with my family.
