Anthony DeRiso, MA, LCMHC

My name is Anthony DeRiso and I have worked as a counselor for over 10 years. I have worked as a middle school counselor during that time and I am well versed in the struggles and difficulties children, teens, and families are facing today.

I believe that the relationship between a client and counselor is the most important thing for the therapeutic process. I operate from an eclectic counseling approach, meeting my clients where they are. This helps them realize their strengths to persevere and increase the quality of their own life.

I have a passion for working with teens, especially during the difficult middle school years. Throughout these years they can be filled with such confusion and overwhelmed by the entire spectrum of human emotions (often within a 20-minute time frame).
